EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

John J. Davis graduated with honors and received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1976.

LENGTH OF EXPERIENCE

Mr. Davis spent six years of his career in Washington, D.C., where he was in public accounting for four years and a Vice President in an investment banking firm for two years.  After joining R. A. Mercer & Co., P. C. in May 1982, he became a shareholder in July 1983.  In 1985 he became the managing shareholder of two of the firm's four offices.  In 2005, Mr. Davis became President of the firm.  In addition to his other responsibilities, Mr. Davis is also concentrating on building a practice in Southwest Florida.
