EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Denise Veloski received a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, in Accounting from the State University of New York at Fredonia in 1991.  While attending Fredonia, she received Dean's list recognition.

LENGTH OF EXPERIENCE

Ms. Veloski has fifteen years of experience including both private and public accounting.  She initially joined R. A. Mercer & Co., P.C., in May 1991 as a full-time staff accountant.  After five years, she accepted a position in private accounting, rejoining R. A. Mercer & Co., P.C., in November 2001.  She was admitted as a shareholder in the firm in October 2006.

TYPES OF EXPERIENCE

Ms. Veloski has governmental auditing experience, including audits of school districts, towns and villages.  She has performed other auditing and accounting assignments in governmental, not-for-profit, and commercial accounting.  Ms. Veloski has attended various professional development and staff-training seminars in meeting licensing and governmental requirements.
